Introductionary seminar (24.09.2019)

You are a new international employee at the UPa  or soon you will be?

Come to the „Introductionary seminar for incoming International Employees”  which will be held on Tuesday, 24th September from 4:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. at the Language Centre (room DB / 01002).

The purpose is to help you to smoothly transition to the University of Pardubice and become more familiar with life in Pardubice and the Czech Republic.

Caroline Novák-Jolly, Euraxess coordinator will provide you with some basic information about what being an employee at the University of Pardubice entails. Some of the important information included:

• Permits or visas (registration, extension, etc.)
• Working at the UPa- rights and duties (sick leave, taxes, resignation, vouchers, holidays, ….)
• Health insurance and medical care
