June 2017: Income tax
Income tax can be a daunting topic when you work and live abroad, especially if you do not speak the language.
Besides, each country has its own system.
To help its foreign employees (postdoctoral researchers, academics), the Office of International affairs and Development organised a course in income tax return. It was organized, on 8th June 2017 at the rectorate.
A private accountant who spoke English was invited to explain the tax system in the Czech Republic and to show how to easily fill out the required tax form.
In order to offer a tailor-made service, after the presentation the accountant offered her individual assistance in case of any problems.
