The process of recognition of foreign diplomas and degrees is called "nostrification" in Czech law.
What is nostrification?
Nostrification is the process by which two governments agree to recognise or acknowledge each other's formal education qualifications.
For example, let's say Jane got a Master's degree in Organic Chemistry from the University of India. In order to study in the Czech Republic, she will first get her degree verified by India and then nostrified by the Czech Republic.
Why do I need it?
Czech law requires nostrification for all education completed in a foreign country.
How do I get my qualifications nostrified?
The simple answer is, it depends. The process is different for each country. The process for your country will be one of the following three. We will call these country type A, country type B and country type C.
