The City of Pardubice and the University itself provide a very wide range of opportunities for the students to spend their free time.
The University campus offers gymnasiums with a modern gym, a fitness centre, clubrooms, tennis courts, a boathouse, and football and basketball grounds allowing training in all sports at various levels.

The City of Pardubice lies in lowlands, offering great opportunities for cycling and in-line skating. The city also has a swimming pool and two open-air pools. An ice hockey rink is within walking distance from the campus.
Every autumn, Pardubice holds the world famous Velká Pardubice steeplechase, and a well known speedway race Zlatá přilba – Golden Helmet. Pardubice´s ice-hockey team plays in the National Czech League, and the matches played in the Pardubice Arena are famous for their fantastic atmosphere.
