The University of Pardubice is situated in the river Elbe lowlands in the city of Pardubice, which has almost 100,000 inhabitants and a long history spanning eight centuries. It is both a historical and modern city with a rich cultural and sporting life.
The University campus provides an excellent environment for studies, and students' cultural and sporting lives are comparable to those of young people in modern European universities at the dawn of the third millennium. Some of the University premises are situated off-campus in the city centre or on the outskirts of the city.
