Research areas
There are currently three research teams at the Institute of Historical Sciences which cover the time span from end of the Middle Ages to the Contemporary Times, and which share an interest in cultural history of social elites.
The researchers have achieved international recognition in research into the Economic History of Early Modern Times and Monetary History, History of Diplomacy and Political Communication, History of the Royal Court, History of Women, Gender History and History of Human Body from the point of view of Historical Anthropology.
